As part of a Technology and Environment module, this project involved an in depth analysis of a contemporary example of built architecture. The Des Moines Public Library, situated in Iowa, USA, exemplifies how David Chipperfield’s architectural minimalist concept and intent has been translated into a built form through the material systems used.
